Rachel Gearing is a Senior Claims Underwriter within Hiscox London Market’s Property division, with over 10 years’ experience in the insurance industry. Passionate about professional development and market engagement, she has played a leading role in industry education and networking initiatives, including serving as Chair of the PICG Emerging Professionals Committee and supporting the PICG Conference and associated networking events.

Within Hiscox, Rachel sits on the Client Committee, helping to raise the team’s market profile and strengthen relationships with brokers and vendor partner and outside of work, Rachel is a strong advocate for charitable initiatives and community engagement, having supported fundraising efforts for organizations including Breast Cancer Now and Kidney Care UK. She is passionate about using her network and experience to support worthwhile causes and create opportunities for others.

Rachel is proud to support STEM is for Everyone because she believes talent and potential exist everywhere, but opportunities do not. She is committed to helping create a more inclusive and accessible pathway into STEM, ensuring that young people from all backgrounds have the confidence and support they need to thrive.
