About STEM is for Everyone
Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) are the way of the future, yet a large percentage of the world’s population does not have access to innovative technology, the internet, or STEM education. STEM is for Everyone is a power and energy insurance claims industry initiative that is focused on increasing and diversifying technical resources (engineers and scientists) around the world. Our focus on diversity in STEM education (science, technology, engineering, and math) derives from the industry’s persistent need for qualified engineers, technical experts, and scientists in all corners of the world where power and energy insurance claims occur.
The mission of this organization is to help humankind and our industry thrive by promoting equal opportunity to education in the areas of Science, Technology, Engineering and Math. A large percentage of the world’s population, in both first and third-world countries, does not have access to innovative technology, the internet, or STEM education. We are determined to increase the number of opportunities for underserved children and their families to access STEM education and help them envision a better, more empowered, future.
STEM is for Everyone’s annual event will be held in November 2024 (exact date TBD). The beneficiary of our next event has yet to be selected. Please see our beneficiary’s page to learn more about last year’s beneficiary, and our beneficiary selection process.
