Funding Details and Resources
For institutional funders and corporate partners committed to expanding equitable access to STEM and strengthening the global workforce.
Executive Overview
STEM is for Everyone, Inc. is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization (EIN: 88-1896592) dedicated to expanding equitable access to Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) education for underserved communities worldwide.
Founded by industry professionals in engineering, insurance, risk management, and finance, our organization addresses two interconnected challenges:
- Persistent inequities in access to quality STEM education
- Growing global workforce shortages in technical fields
By investing in high-potential schools and STEM-focused programs serving under-resourced populations, we help create sustainable pathways from education to skilled labor opportunities.
Our Mission:
To raise awareness, funds, and support that help underserved individuals thrive through equitable access to STEM education.

The Workforce & Equity Challenge
Across the globe — and within the United States — students in underserved communities face significant barriers to accessing high-quality STEM education, including:
- Limited infrastructure and laboratory resources
- Inadequate technology access
- Insufficient teacher support and training
- Financial barriers to continued education
At the same time, workforce gaps continue to widen:
- In the U.S., women make up approximately 30% of the STEM workforce, despite representing roughly half of the population.
- Hispanic, Black, and Indigenous workers comprised only 24% of the STEM workforce in 2021.
- Globally, women represent only 28.2% of the STEM workforce, compared to 47.3% in non-STEM fields.
- STEM jobs offer significantly higher pay (median of $95,420) compared to non-STEM roles ($40,120), making the lack of representation an economic equality issue According to IDtech.com
- Nearly 400,000 insurance industry professionals are projected to retire in the coming years, creating significant talent shortages in increasingly technology-driven sectors.
- A severe, accelerating worldwide electrician shortage is threatening infrastructure, renewable energy projects, and AI data center expansion, the United States facing a shortage of nearly 300,000 electricians.
STEM education is not only an academic opportunity — it is a pathway to economic mobility, workforce participation, and long-term community stability.
